Over the past few years, Zoom has become one thing that more of us have been using. As a video conferencing app, it’s helped help people do things like conduct meetings and classes and let people have online get-togethers. However, aside from being a platform for these group calls and meetings, it also has other equally valuable functions. For example, Zoom allows you to record your meetings–something that may prove helpful for many. In this article, we’ll teach you how to do this from your iPhone!

Step #Action
1Before you can go ahead and record a Zoom meeting on your iPhone, you’ll have to ensure that the “Cloud Recording” option is activated on your account.
(Note: Zoom saves your recordings online on a cloud drive, so it’s essential that this is activated)
2So, go to the Zoom web portal (zoom.us/signin) from your phone or other device and log into your account.
3Once you’re logged in on the web portal, you’ll find a drop-down menu with different options. (As shown below)

Tap/click on it and look for the “Settings” option, then select it.
4When you’re on the Settings tab, look for the “Recording” tab and tap/click on it.
5On the Recording tab, you’ll see an option that says “Cloud Recording.” Toggle this option to be able to record Zoom meetings from your iPhone.
Once that’s done, you’re ready to record Zoom meetings.
6To actually record a meeting, first ensure that you’re on a Zoom call.
7Once on the call, tap on the meatball menu–the one with the three dots horizontally aligned–labeled “More.”
8After tapping on the meatball menu, more options will pop up. Look for the option that says “Record to the Cloud” or something similar, then tap on it.
9When the recording begins, you will hear a voice prompt saying, “Recording in progress.”
10Aside from the voice prompt, you will also see two buttons–“Pause” and “Stop”–appearing on your screen. (An example is shown below)

Tapping on the Pause button (left) will stop the recording temporarily and allow you to continue after you tap on it again.
On the other hand, tapping on the Stop button (right) will end your recording entirely.
11Once your meeting ends, Zoom will process the recording and upload it to the web portal.
Simply go to the “Recordings” tab on the Zoom web portal to view them.
12Congratulations! You now know how to record a Zoom meeting from your iPhone!
