Yahoo! Is a mailing and search engine portal. As a directory, it offers the comfort of an organized view of millions of Web pages and hundreds of thousands of Web sites to both new and seasoned Web users. Using the Yahoo app on a Firepad gives users a bigger screen and a larger view of the interface when navigating through your inbox.
Read on to learn how to use Yahoo on your tablet for Firepad users.

On your Firepad, tap on the Email app.
On the menu bar, select Accounts. Tap on Manage Accounts >> Add Account.
Type in your Yahoo account’s password >> tap Next.
You will then be redirected to another window. Double-check your Yahoo email and make necessary changes if necessary, then tap Next.
Enter your password, then tap Next.
Perform the two-step verification using your registered number or email code. Check your mobile phone or inbox for any prompts to verify the sign-in.
You will be prompted to allow access to your Profiles and your Yahoo mailbox. Tap Agree to proceed. Wait for the validation process to finish.
The Firepad will now set up your Yahoo Mail in your built-in mail app. This may take a few seconds so ensure you don’t close the app. 
Once the setup is finished, you can either check your Yahoo inbox to see if it synced properly to the mail app. You may also add another email account and repeat the process. 
Customizing Yahoo Mail App Settings

You may also open your Yahoo Mail app and customize your settings accordingly. Once you enter the Yahoo Mail app, you will be prompted to sign in to your Yahoo account. 

If you don’t have an account, Tap on Sign Up to make one. Fill in your full name, new Yahoo email, password, and birthday. Tap Continue when you’re done.
If you have a Yahoo Mail account, Tap on Sign in with Yahoo >> log in with your username and password.

Once you get to your inbox, Tap on your account’s icon in the upper left corner. 

Navigate Settings on the menu bar.

You will then see all the settings you can customize according to your liking. 
Select Manage Mailboxes >> Add a mailbox to add non-Yahoo mail accounts to your inbox. 

You will then be redirected to a list of mailing options. Tap on your preferred account, then sign in accordingly to merge data between two mailing accounts. 

Go back to the menu and select Connect services. 

You will then see a list of external drives and accounts you may connect to your Yahoo Mail. Enable the toggle bar to connect accordingly.


Go back to the main menu and manage Security accordingly. You will be asked to provide extra protection by adding a PIN code, drawing a pattern, or adding another fingerprint to protect your Inbox access.

Return to the main menu and select Themes. 

Adjust the circle on the color spectrum at the bottom to change the color theme of your mailbox. Tap Save on the upper right corner when you’re done.


Customizing your inbox may enable certain features to make email correspondence a breeze. Tap on the toggle bar on the right to match your phone’s theme settings (day or night mode) with the mailbox’s theme. 

Tap on Swipe Actions to enable the toggle icons on the right. This will help you customize what to do with your mailbox when swiping left or right. 

Go back to the menu and enable or disable Show tick boxes and Show stars in your inbox. 

To customize message preview, check the option on how you want to view new mail in your inbox. 

To set up emails with responses like a conversation, enable the toggle icon on the right.


Select Notifications >> Tap system settings. Enable the functions you wish to see on your Android smartphone by Taping on the toggle icons on the right.

Go back to Notification >> then Tap Troubleshoot. Tap the functions to enable your preferred settings. 

To enable notifications for messages, features, and categories, enable the toggle button on the right. You may also Tap on None if you prefer no changes. 


To add a Yahoo signature, Tap on Signatures. Enable the toggle icons accordingly, then type your preferred “sign off phrase” on the line. 

Tap on Filters >> New Filter, then type in the filter name you prefer, the email or name of the sender and recipient, and  the subject. 

As for block images and the undo send functions, go back to the menu, then you may activate these functions by enabling the toggle icon on the right. 

To Clear cache, click on the prompt, read the terms, then tap on Clear cache at the bottom to proceed. 

Managing publishers is the last feature you can customize. Click on it and wait for the instructions to add your preferred news publishers to appear less on your mailbox. 
Go back to your inbox and reload the mailbox by sliding down your screen. Wait for the customized settings to sync. Begin using your Yahoo mail on your Android phone with ease.
